Nikki J started out as singer songwriter Nicola Jenkins and was a semi finalist on BBC Talent New Urban Music Awards in 2004 hosted by Trevor Nelson. In 2009 she had her first radio and club release with (Think of me) remixed by T2. She then went on to feature on Livid Kid's (Story of a broken heart) remixed by Burgaboy. And in 2012 she featured on the rework of the classic Aretha Franklin hit (Chain of fools) by Mueox & Marquez. Which went on to be a No 1 UK Upfront Club breaker.
